Re: What was your first bike?

The first bike I ever went on was a Honda CB125. I'd stayed at a mates and it was his bike but he had nothing in for breakfast so I offered to nip back to my mums to nick some food.

"Can you ride a bike?" He asked

"Sure I can!!" I said only ever been on the back of one.

The ride home was interesting to say the least.

I bought the bike off him having been bitten by the bug and prompty binned it into a ditch after steering straight on a bend and hitting the verge twisting the forks.

Then I had a couple of Honda 250 Superdreams, a 2-stroke Suzuki GT250 before getting my first 'proper bike' a 1986 Kawasaki GPZ1000RX which I binned within 3 months of buying it.

Then I spent 20 years off a bike only taking mates bikes out for a ride every now and then until I bought my Triumph Sprint a year last June, (just in time for all the rains), and my latest bike is another GPZ1000RX, this time a Jap import 1986 model.

If at first you don't succeed buy a snipers rifle, hire a clown suit and climb a clock tower

Re: What was your first bike?

My first bike was a Piaggio NRG50. I got it on my 16th birthday and I loved it. It was blue with green wheels.
