Ron Haslam Race School

I've just booked in late June for a session at Ron Haslam Race School at Donnington. Hopefully it will be dry by then!! Plumped for the CBR600RR session.
I've heared varying reports about it, just wondered if anyone else has had a go and what you thought of it?

P.S. Its the Weds after the Moto GP boys have been there I'm told, so should be some good lines to follow!!! I wont be comparing lap times though

It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll

Saxon, this is something i've wanted to do for a few months. You'll have to let us know how it goes. I spoke to the dealer who sold me my bike and he get the old bikes from Ron's school.

He deffo recommended it - he said it should be made essential for anyone for rides fast plastic!!

Looking forward too it, they said they've just replaced the bikes for the brand new 2008 CBR600RR so should be nice and loose by June!! It sounds really well organised and they provide all the kit too, if you want it. Saves getting kitty litter in my own lid I suppose!
I'll keep you posted and hopefully get a few strategic photos on the Craner Curves!!
Cheers

I did some laps of Dono (Full GP circuit) years ago (1995) with the BTCC BMW Schnitzer 318is (E36). The craner curves were fantastic!

Would love to go round on 2 wheels!!

Have been a spectator many times, but never ridden it yet. Gonna brush up on the playstation!! There's a few blind apex's I'm told, Redgate into Craner and the awkward double apex one onto the back straight.
Apparently they ease you into it gently and have a chat after each session about getting it right or wrong. Three sessions in total, so should get a few laps in. just praying it stays dry.
