Re: GO HONDA!!!! Spanish MotoGP

Yea Singh, it was a cracking race again. Its a pity they didn't show much of it apart from the front runners. IMHO it would help to stop some of the races becoming boring.

If you haven't been watching MotoGP live before Grotbag (or anyone else for that matter) you really should make an effort to see it at least once. Great atmosphere and the sound of the bikes is awesome the first time you hear them. It may also seem like a lot of money and it is but you can watch racing all day from 9am, including practice.

Re: GO HONDA!!!! Spanish MotoGP

Yup - and you aint heard nuffin til you get next to a motogp bike. It would sound louder than any road bike if it was a mile away Deano. They don't have cans as such. More like tuned pipes.

Seriously they are deafening even from the spectator area. Especially when they used to use the "big bang" firing order like Kawasaki did a couple of seasons ago. They fire two cylinders at the same time to try to give it the engine characteristics of a v twin.

Yeah
I just have the memories of my youth Lawson, Spencer, Mamola, Gardener, Shwantz, Rainey etc screaming the wottsits of machines that were nigh on uncontrollable by today's standards.
