Re: TV tonight! 20.7.08 BBC2

What a great night's viewing that was!

I thought I would be able to get away with watching Top Gear as my girlfriend quite likes it too, I had to convince her to watch Long Way Round which wasn't a problem as she likes Ewan McGregor. But.................I really thought I'd have to miss the Moto GP as she has no interest in it whatsoever.

HOWEVER!

She decided that she needed to do some work so pulled out some paperwork and I relaxed in front of the box to watch one of the best Moto GP's I have seen! Even my girlfriend took an interest in it when Stoner and Rossi swapped the lead at every corner!

Now that is what Sundays are all about

Re: TV tonight! 20.7.08 BBC2

Got to agree - that was an amazing nights' viewing.

I haven't seen 'Long Way Round', but I will be watching it from this point on, especially as it looks like there's gonna be more about the ride itself next week.

As for the race - what can you say, Rossi and Stoner alone did more overtaking in the first few laps than you normally see in a whole season of F1. It was a real shame Stoner outbraked himself then dropped it, I would have loved to see that go all the way to the flag.

Has anyone had any confirmation on how Lorenzo is - the BBC news says only that there's a chance he's broken his foot. That was a scary highside, he must have been in the air for fully two seconds!

Thanks guys, for the update.

That was a BIG highside, it's good news he got off lightly, relatively speaking!
