Laguna Seca What a race!! Made the F1 GP look Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz That Stoner and Rossi battle was fantastic I can't believe Stoner was mardy at the end - what did he expect? Rossi was a bit wild at times - but nothing illegal i could see. What's that the Aussies say about moaning poms..... ![]() And Lorenzo's high side - that was spectacular - do feel sorry for him though It's going to be a good 2nd half to the season - both Yamaha and Honda got to find something special to beat Stoner. Honda's pneumatic valve engine doesn't seem to be the answer they were looking for. Not a bad ride from JT - again quick in the first few laps and then faded away again. Good ride from Vermulen.

Re: Laguna Seca It was a good race, and I am sure when Stoner wacthes it back he will retract wot he said about valle... He did not know valle had gone flying across the gravel. Even tho he was holding his hands up for his off, I am sure the comments were him just venting his anger with himself.

Re: Laguna Seca Best race this season for me but I agree with Jonny about stoner, I think he will have an apology for Valley when he sees the rerun ![]()

Re: Laguna Seca I certainly couldn't see Rossi doing anything particularly untoward - they were both racing hard, and Rossi seemed just to be holding his lines. That said, I'm not a racer. How he managed to keep it upright through the Corkscrew I have no idea - that was just amazing.

Re: Laguna Seca BSB was good too, although not as capturvating as the gp from Laguna Seca, but laguna usually is a good race due to the track, from where stoner was on the track at the time rossi hit the gravel he would never have seen it happen, just venting anger. For the first time in his career in gps stoner was forced to race with the best, he did well but was never gonna beat rossi on the brakes, stoner has always relied on the straights to get ahead and win. hes a good ride, but i doubt if he will ever be great
