Aussie MotoGP - great!

Wow what a comeback from Rossi

Ouch - his Saturday accident had to hurt!!

Great racing from James Toseland - best ride he's had this year. Pity his end position didn't reflect the effort and race he did.

His battles with Rossi, Lorenzo and Dovi were fantastic - best battle of the race. Then Nakano pipped 'em both at the end!!

On the whole a good race

Re: Aussie MotoGP - great!

yep fairy snuff - I know he's an all time great ape
but it seems a common theme (bordering on childish to me) that Rossi's fans are so friggin biased & blind the achievements of his rivals - esp stoner

and I ain't a particular fan of GP racing, never mind an individual racer - so no personal axe to grind on the issue

I'm not really a rossi fan - but you got to respect his ability. Same as Michael Schumacher - you may not like him - but the lad's got talent.

If it wasn't for Rossi - then most MotoGP's for the last two years would simply be a Ducati demonstration day.

I think Hayden gave up his 2nd place too easily to Rossi - he didn't even battle to protect his place, at least JT gave him somrthing to think about

Re: Aussie MotoGP - great!

have to be deaf dumb n blind not to recognise Rossi's easily the best of his generation

but surely you can't (well you did so far - bracketing yerself with the rest of em ) refer to that GP naming 5 racers in the thread plus the F1 Kraut, without actually mentioning the winner of the damned thing?
seen this on other forums too, it seems Rossi fans just can't bring themselves mention Stoner - except to abuse him

Re: Aussie MotoGP - great!

it was a good race, wouldnt say great, ive been a rossi fan for years he has a natural talent, but i also have nothing but respect for stoner, everyone seems to be saying 'yeah but its the bike' bollocks, the bike may be good but stoner is the only rider who can make it corner, no other rider can yet handle the dame thing, with hayden moving to ducati next season that situation may change i believe that hayden does have the ability to tame the duke and next season we will see, toseland did do well again this race, but please remember this is his first season, he is still learning the tracks, with a bit more pace from the tech 3 bike next year toseland will do a lot better, what about dovizioso? full factory bike for next season, his current bike is not great, look at his team mates positions, money on him for results next year? i will, with the current team switches set for motogp next season and one tyre rules, i believe next season will be one of the best

young at heart and still faster than you

I'd never abuse Stoner - he seems a good fella (apart from his tantrum at Laguna Seca). I think he has superb biker control, he is the biggest difference for Ducati. Look at his fellow Ducati riders - they are all performing poorly in comparison. It is his skill alone that is bringing that bike to the top positions.

I agree alot of folks do seem to have it in for Casey - i believe he was quoted somewhere as saying he got boo'ed at Donnington and a few other tracks. That is poor

I'm a Honda man - and want Honda to win again - hopefully with Dovi and Pedrosa they'll have a good line up for next year.

Re: Aussie MotoGP - great!

What did you think when Danny crashed out on lap 1? It looked like Toseland made a move up the inside and made Danny lift which resulted in him crashing out.

Thought Hayden did really well battling with Stoner until he pulled away.

JT passing Rossi back was funny. Shame that he couldn't hold on till the end, though it was a great battle.

Rossi is amazing, he's a genius in the sport.
