Bragging rights and a video camera mounted on his motorcycle may have landed a rider in further trouble with Oregon State Law officials.
Oregon State Trooper Jeff Leighty was off-duty in his unmarked police car when Ben Howard Kelly rode past at speeds beyond the posted limits, prompting the officer to call troopers down the road with the motorcycles license plate number.
Now, Oregon State Police are claiming Mr. Kelly is the worst offender they've arrested, officially noted at 164 mph and although others have claimed to have gone faster, his speed is verifiable thanks to a mounted video camera pointed squarely at the motorcycles speedometer.
