| Re: bike only speed cameras My 2 pence worth I saw a piece on BBC East Midlands news tonight about the Think Bike campaign, as this campaign is aimed at other road users paying more attention to bikers I am in favour. BBC NEWS | England | Motorbike deaths increasing The piece only drew a speculative 50/50 shot as to whether the main causes of accidents with bikes was excessive speed or unattentive road users I would rather see more money being spent on more bike awareness amongst other road users than see the money go into a project that, in my opinion would like other speed camera initiatives seek monetary gain whilst posing as a safety initiative. |
