Rock and Blues Custom Show to go ahead

The Rock and Blues Custom Show in Derbyshire, which was cancelled due to fears of violence is now set to go ahead.

One Percent Entertainments Group, the organisers of the event has put in a new licence application for the event after they decided to move back to the original location of Coney Grey Showground. Pentrich, Derbyshire.

Organiser Dave Smith said: "We only temporarily withdrew the licence anyway because of the police, but now all systems are go."

The organisers received thousands of emails from the local community and motorcycle community nationwide in support of the show going ahead.

The Rock and Blues Custom Show was cancelled due to security fears, as well as the Ink and Iron Show and the Welsh National Motorcycle Show. The Bulldog Bash is due to go ahead.
