No camping facilities at Welsh bike show for fear of gang rivalry, say organisers
ORGANISERS OF the two day Llangollen motorcycle show have said that that they have been given the full backing of the North Wales police.
The news comes in light of the recent outrage over the cancellation of several motorcycle shows including the annual Welsh Motorcycle Show at Builth Wells over fears of violence between what police call “rival biker gangs”.
Llangollen organiser David Green that the show, on August 2nd and 3rd would be daytime only and would not offer any camping facilities.
He told the BBC: "The police are with us on this event. It will be more like the motorcycle show at the NEC in Birmingham with a big emphasis on trade stands."
