A 30-year-old motorcyclist has died in a collision with a car on the M4.
The accident, involving a Honda CBR600 bike and a Citroen Picasso, occurred eastbound between junctions five and six at Langley, Berkshire.
The motorcyclist, from Hounslow, was pronounced dead at the scene. An inquiry is under way.
Both carriageways between the junctions were closed for six hours after the incident at about 2300 BST on Wednesday.
The motorcyclist's family had been informed and a formal identification was expected to take place later, Thames Valley Police said.
