A woman pedestrian was seriously injured when she was hit by a motorcycle in Northumberland.
The 79-year-old was struck by a rider on a Honda motorcycle at the Bridge End roundabout on the A69 in Hexham.
She was treated by paramedics at the scene before being airlifted to Newcastle General Hospital. Her condition is described as serious.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, on Sunday morning, is asked to contact Northumbria Police.
