The team of Victory motorcycles and Tom Arnold have officially launched an online auction, featuring a one-of-a-kind Victory Vision Street with a custom paint job designed by legendary special effects guru, the late Stan Winston, geared to raise money for two deserving charities.
All net proceeds from this auction will be donated to Operation Homefront,
OperationHomeFront.net - Supporting Our Troops by Helping the Families They Leave Behind., which benefits the families of American soldiers, and Camp del Corazon,
Camp del Corazon, a pediatric heart patient camp that hosts kids who have undergone invasive and life-changing operations.
The auction is being housed on eBay, and bidding on this revolutionary bike has begun and will extend through August 8. Consumers can visit the live auction page to place a bid or get more information on the bike (see link below). The highest bidder at the conclusion of the auction will ride off with a piece of Hollywood history and, more importantly, the knowledge that he or she has helped touch the lives of those involved with two extraordinary charities.
The unique paint design created by Winston, a close friend of Arnold's and a riding buddy of many years, was inspired by the recent big-screen feature, "Iron Man" -- one of the legend's last projects before his passing. In addition to the extraordinary paint scheme, the Victory Vision Street also has customized wheels and plates from Ness Customs, a custom 400 watt stereo system designed by Al & Eds Stereo, a custom seat and PURE Victory Gear accessories from Victory Motorcycles.
The winning bidder will have the choice to receive the motorcycle at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum or via direct delivery to a local Victory dealership.
