| Re: Police Pursuit results in biker death Well I can agree with you to a degree , it would of been a lot less tragic . We dont know Mr longs reasons for doing what he did though so it is hard to say what went on before the crash . There was definatly Overkill by the police , thats a fact , they are brutal when chasing motorbikes . Like i said , a friend died in exactly the same tragic way ( plus 24 others in 6 years in manchester ) , the police push too hard , which in turn makes one panic , if they had stopped pursuing like they was ordered to then it wouldnt of happened either . I definatly agree that it is safer to stop when signalled by police though . |
