UK Government Plan 2nd Offence Ban For Speeding Riders
grotbag
10-01-2008
Despite the fact that statistics show over and over again, that speeding is NOT what causes road fatalities, it's still THE way for governments to pick your pockets. Now, in the UK, they're planning to go one step further.

If you are caught for a 2nd time speeding on your motorcycle...

well hondaboy you've got the ideal bike for these laws if they come in, you probably can't even do double the 30mph limit.

nice to see this is a mature debate

then I would respectfully suggest that if yer expecting to find like minded peeps on a biker forum - yer gonna be like the blind man in the dark room looking for the black cat, that ain't there

ok guys i can see that you disagree and think there should be a greyer system rather than a one size fits all policy, so how would this grey system work

The spelling is not relivent to the discussion topic - post edited - grotbag

Anywhoo, as far as speeding goes, well in my opinion if you're gonna break the limit then be a man, (or woman), and take it on the chin!

We all know the rules, we all know the speed limits, we're all in charge of our right wrists and we're all in control of the speed of our bikes.

It's simple - Speed, get nicked and live with the consequences of what YOU did.
