| Brands Hatch Crutchlow raring to go for finale HM Plant Honda's Cal Crutchlow has his sights completely focused on nothing less than race wins at the final round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch next weekend (10/11/12 October).
Crutchlow got his season off to a flying start with a maiden BSB win at Thruxton, followed by another at Brands Hatch, but the HM Plant Honda rider has since failed to repeat his winning success despite podium finishes on nine other occasions. This is something that he is determined to rectify when he goes head-to-head with race winners Shane Byrne, Leon Haslam, Tom Sykes and Leon Camier for one final time at Brands Hatch.
Crutchlow will be back onboard a Supersport machine next season with a move to the World Championship, so this will be his last Superbike appearance for at least a season.
Crutchlow said: "The good thing about the race on the Indy circuit is that there's plenty of laps to do the business and I know that's what I've got to do next weekend. We're coming off the back of another disappointing result at Silverstone, as I knew I had the pace to be on the podium in both races, not just the first. I think that has fired me up even more to go for it at the final round."
"I still desperately want to end the year on a high and for me a win at least would be the best way to sign-off things in the UK before going World Supersport. I know I will be doing everything I can to do the double."
