170mph crash - biker riding again

A Somerset motorcyclist who cheated death when he crashed at 170mph in 2006 has described the experience of riding his machine again as "better than sex".

Doctors thought Paul Pidcock might not walk again when he broke his leg in 22 places below the knee.

But on Wednesday the Taunton man was back racing at Castle Combe track in Wiltshire on a specially adapted machine with a hand gear-change.

"A little crash like that isn't going to set you back is it," he said.

"I'm mad for it. It's good to be back....better than sex," he added.
