PRANKSTER Colin Furze broke the world record for riding the world's longest motorbike at Saltby Airfield on Tuesday.
The daredevil rode the homemade 14-metre machine 100 metres to smash the previous record of riding a 9.6m bike.
Colin said: "A couple of years ago I broke the world record for the biggest bonfire and after that I wanted to do something else, because it was pretty cool.
"I had a look through the motorbike world records and all the speed ones seemed far too expensive to try to break, so I thought we go for this - a nice big long one. It's been a lot of fun.
"It's taken a lot of building. You start doing something at one end and then you want to do something at the other end and of course your tools are 14 metres away - so you're contantly walking up and down the garden."
Colin had to ride the bike 100 metres to qualify for the record, but was able to ride it up and down the run way - including a brief period riding no hands.
