| Hell Ride [2008] - OFFICIAL TRAILER. Tarantino Hell Ride (2008) is a feature film from Larry Bishop being released under the "Quentin Tarantino Presents" banner. The film promises to be a blood and sex-soaked tale of motorcycle revenge and retribution. Bishop took extra duties on this film by not only starring in it, but wrote, directed and co-produced with Michael Steinberg and Shana Stein producing and Quentin Tarantino taking on the job of Executive Producer. This is Bishop's modern-day take on those 1960s motorcycle flicks he used to turn out for B-movie masters American International Pictures. It's the project Tarantino inspired Bishop to begin some five and a half years ago, when he told Larry, "It is your destiny to write, direct and star in a movie,'" and said he would help produce it. Larry Bishop stars as bad-ass biker Pistolero, (named after the original title for Robert Rodriguez's Desperado) who along with The Gent (Michael Madsen) and Comanche (Eric Balfour), hit the road to avenge the death of Pistolero's old lady Cherokee Kisum (Julia Jones), by the 666ers, a rival motorcycle gang. Tarantino commentary stolen from elsewhere across the pond  "Opening August 8th, Hell Ride is a raucous throwback to the days of the Sergio Leone spaghetti western, with a heaping helping of testosterone-fueled chopper action thrown into the mix. Writer/director Larry Bishop takes on a third role as Pistolero, head honcho of the Victors, a group of badass bikers who are out to avenge the murder of one of their members at the hands of the 666ers, a rival gang whose actions live up to their hellish moniker. Along with his cohorts, the Gent (deviously portrayed by Michael Madsen) and the mysterious Comanche (Eric Balfour), Pistolero aims to take down the Deuce and Billy Wings, menacing leaders of the 666ers, but a mutiny looms on the horizon when his commitment to profit is questioned by a few of his fellow Victors. An even larger story unravels when previously unknown information about Comanche resurrects ghosts from Pistolero's past. Although there is enough sex, violence, and all-out machismo to keep grind-house fans firmly plastered to their seats, Larry Bishop's take on the genre strays far from exploitation as he weaves a twisting, multilayered tale of revenge, loyalty, and brotherhood that is brought to life by a superb ensemble cast, with memorable performances by Dennis Hopper, Vinnie Jones, and David Carradine.
