For me personally it stops me becoming too cocky as I hope it does to some others in here who get a bit cocky about the speeds they do.

Accidents don't always happen to some one else, sometimes they happen to you. A few members are lucky to be alive today after accidents and have posted their experiences.

Some time's my mind doesn't only wander, it leaves completely ...........

This wasn't aimed at experienced riders mate, to be honest I did think about posting this for a long time but seeing as we now have a lot of new bikers as members I thought it might be worth it to let them see the reality of a very bad accident.

There are others I could have posted but this one does get the message across without being gory (as are some that I have seen). I must admit that in posting it, I didn't take into consideration the experiences and feelings of other members who might have been in a similar situation, simply because there wasn't any posts on the forum that I knew about at the time.

Since then some members have posted their own experiences that in some ways were possibly worse than this video so I apologise sincerely for that and if those people wish me to remove the thread then just PM me and I will take it down immediately.

Just as a side issue I have come across this video on a number of sites and some say the guy died while others say he was badly injured so I don't really know the true story about it. The aftermath unfortunately does look more like the first scenario to me though
