| Donington Classic Revival Meeting Hi Guys we have just had a fab weekend at Donington racing with the CRMC. The meeting was also host to the Norton Owners Club Centenary with lots of Norton" dating from 1909 to present. Overall there were 420 competitors competing in 37 races including the 500 National, 1300 National and the fabulous Wheatcroft Trophy. The racing was fast and furious and equal in entertainment value to any GP or Superbike meet. We race a 72 Rob North 930 triton and are currently lying 2nd in the Classic Open and 4th in the 1300 Nationals, Post Classics and 1300 Group 2 Classes. We're off to Brands Hatch 11th & 12th July competing in 9 races including the race for the Charlie Sanby Trophy. For more info, photo's and video's check out our web site chrischapmanracing.co.uk or better still get down to Brand's as admission for the weekend is only £12. If you do make it down come and find us in one of the pit garages as we like to chat. A final note on the CRMC meetings as they run an open paddock so if you want to spectate from the pit wall or see some famous machines close up it's not a problem. Cheers John |
