| Re: What Bikes Have You Had. jeez this will be a long list. In my learner days I worked in a bike shop, therefore had a readily available supply of small bikes. Anyway, here we go and the start will be in no particular order (I'm only going to list the bikes that were actually on the road)Suzuki TS50ER Kawasaki AR50 (the original big rear light one) Yamaha DT50MX Suzuki GP100 Yamaha RS100 Suzuki GP125, cut down disc valve, X7 carb, allspeed pipe and ace bars Yamaha RXS100 Honda C70, the best and fastest plaggy Yamaha RXS125, DT50 monoshock swingarm conversion, X7 carb, micron and RD125 fairing Yamaha DT125 Yamaha RD125 Kawasaki KH100 (to pass test on) Suzuki X7, came with a Rickman fairing which I promptly removed before the style police arrived. Suzuki RG250 mk3 , the best shape before the rgv's came out Yamaha RD200, induction start Yamaha TDR250 one of the best bikes I've ever owned, I'd have another tomorrow. Suzuki GT380 project bike, sold it and wish I hadn't Yamaha RD350 YPVS Kawasaki KMX200 Kawasaki ZZR600 Kawasaki KR-1 250 Kawasaki ZXR400/750 400 with 750 motor in (by prevoius owner), was like a bmx on steroids Suzuki GSXR600 Honda Firestorm, too much bling to list, ask Deano, he's seen it. Honda SP-1 Really can't see me parting with this one, may buy it a stable mate when funds allow. |

| Re: What Bikes Have You Had. 1966 BSA Bantam D7 175 (bought as a non runner when I was 16 and 'restored' to the road.) 1968 BSA 250 (turned out to be a B40 350 but still rode it on L plates.)1968 BSA 250 (now with a TR25W 250 engine) Honda 250 Superdream (only to pass test on but failed. )Honda CG 125 (only to pass test and did. )1972 Norton Mk 11a Commando 850 ![]() 2001 Yamaha XJ600S (my sensible return to biking and still got for commuting) 1997 Triumph Trophy 900 (still sensible and still got) 1992 Yamaha XV535 Virago (bought this year from a barn clearance and restored and just needing an MOT) 1983 Honda VF400F (also bought this year from a barn clearance but may be sold for spares if I can't drum up some more enthusiasm to restore it) Last edited by Reborn : 09-02-2008 at 12:11 AM. |
