Royal Enfield Ride.

Hi, all. Myself and a few more on Royal Enfields will be meeting on sunday 13th July at the Bus Station Cafe in Abergaveny [Wales] at 9am for a bacon butty.
From there we will be off to the Elan Valley and the mountain road to Aberystwyth.
Anyone is welcome to come along with us. Any old or new bikes.
The weather looks good for sunday and if you have not been on this road before you are in for a real treat.
Have a look.

Re: Royal Enfield Ride.

Have a good ride. I've been to Elan Valley a couple of times.

You should venture a bit further north and take in Lake Vyrnwy, nice and scenic and you ride a nice little loop of the lake

I did the Aber to Elan via Devils Bridge the other week

The road to Bala from Lake Vyrnwy is awesome too

Hi, cheers for that. I have done your roads before as i only live in Hereford but some of the folks coming tomorrow will be from Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare. As we are only riding Enfields and some will do about 300 miles there and back we will not have time to go any further.[ shame ]
I will post and let you know how we get on.

Re: Royal Enfield Ride.

Thanks, I recognise the road from my last visit

I'm going back later in the year when the reservoirs are full as I want a photo of my bike in front of the Claerwen Dam.

Do you just tour the UK on the Royal Enfields?

If you fancy venturing to Spain, Bike Astur does tours on Enfields (the modern Indian made versions though)
