Hello there fellow laverda person I knew there must be at least one more.

If you search the forum you will find plenty of info about mine in numerous threads.

I used bridgestone 010s on mine and they stick like glue, although steering is a bit slower than on the orginal parellis.

If you need spares or help then check out Alto performance amoungst others.

Look forward to seeing photos for your lav

Re: Laverda Owners club Meet

thanks for the info here's the bike i bought it off ebay about 2 months ago for £900 came with 12mths mot, i did attempt to ride it down to the Tap in eastham on Sunday afternoon and only got about half a mile from home when the bike packed in so had to push it home thinking " oh no what have i let myself in for " all the fault was down to was the plug on the ecu had become detached so i re-attached said plug and she fired up no probs so hopefully next time it will get me there and back

Re: Laverda Owners club Meet

i'm from the Wirral and go up to the Ponderosa quite often early Sunday mornings. Can't do the Laverda run as i am going on the charity ride from Ewloe car auctions 12 noon this Sunday 21st, this ride finishes at the Ponderosa so i will be there but i will be on my Triumph as i cant get the missus on the laverda anyway it would'nt be fair on the Laverda having to cope with her as well.... lol
question for you do you know what the suspension settings are for a 650 sport with WP forks and rear shock as this bike has been messed with, the adjusters at the top of the forks 1 was set on minimum and the other was set to maximum !!! and the lower adjusters were set to # 1 and the other to 4 no wonder the bike does not handle like it should, so i have set the top adj's to 3 clicks each and the same to the lower adj's and it now feels a lot better so if you have any info on the base setting it would be helpfull.

Dave.

Sorry Dave.. I only have the setings for my bike which is on paoli suspension...

Have you tried laverda spesific forums?? It would be a little rude to mention any directly here, but google the words Zane and list together (without a space) and see what you get

Re: Laverda Owners club Meet

i have joined the zane list a few weeks ago and posted a couple of times but as yet have not had any replies maybe thier laverda all have Paoli forks and not White Power forks but it's early days yet and i will sort it out sooner or later just a matter of twiddling a few dials and going on some test rides etc till it's as i want it to handle... Now the bike has a puncture in the rear tyre !!! so i cant win ....
grotbag thanks for the advice.
