Posting pics Maybe it's me who's a bit dense, but how do you put a pic on over 500kb/97.7kb, without cropping the crap out of it . Am i missing something. Is it down to this 'bandwidth' thinga-ma-jig?![]() ![]() Last edited by BLACKPANTHER : 06-09-2008 at 08:14 PM.

Re: Posting pics The forum does have limits to what picture size etc, what I do is place the pictures on a hosting site like Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket (It's free too). Just use the "insert image" button on the menu bar as you compose your post linking to your image via the direct link specified in photobucket:- ![]() The file above is way over the size specified in the forum ![]()

Re: Posting pics What he said ![]() If you want a picture to show inline with your post then the best thing to do is open an account with photobucket or similar. If you then put a link to an image the forum will resize it automatically so that it doesn't stretch the site. The other benefit is like Rerb says - the file size doesn't matter on here ![]()

Re: Posting pics I've had a faff about and I can't do it. However I've got my 2 kids climbing all over me, so I'll try again when I've got a bit of 'quiet' time. Don't want to be outdone by LC! ![]() Chuff me, it works!!! What a time we live in! Can you do the same thing on the gallery ( as there's no insert image option ) or are you limited to 500? Is it that you guys are super special at this stuff, or am I just a newbie no-brains?? Thanx you guys. Last edited by BLACKPANTHER : 06-10-2008 at 07:17 PM.
