I Ride......: anything that'll hold still long enough
Think I made a boo boo

I wanted to port and polish my head, I know this is done with an abrasive compound so had a chat with my mate, he suggested a rather strange way to do this.

Get some sandblasting sand and chuck a bit in the inlet manifold, this would polish the inlet on the way in and the exhaust on the way out.

Well he's the expert so I wasn't gunna argue with that theory

Anyway we tried it and, well, it didn't work at all, now the engine runs rough as a badgers ar*e, won't rev up and makes a funny grinding noise.

Did I use too much or not enough sand? Should I flush it with a hose pipe?

Help!!!

No see the turbulence in the chamber should have moved the sand to polish the piston up

Yes use the hose pipe, but add cement & a bit of washing up liquid,
This'll help the Mortor run solid.

I Ride......: Bandit 600s again
Re: Think I made a boo boo

Be sure to top off your blinker fluid so your blinkers don't blink slow. That rattling is your muffler bearings going out. Next time don't use sand use ball bearings they will replace the ones going out in the muffler. Make sure it's not a valve rattling.....

I hope this is a BAD joke!
