| Cleaning your tank Well my fuel warning light did not come on (connector had come appart!) and I ran out of fuel ![]() Thankfully I was close to home but she is not running smoothly now so I guess I am in for an evening of carb cleaning but I have never cleaned a tank before. Appart from the obvious safety issues (dont smoke, wear eye protection, dont lick the tank etc) what is the best and cheapest way to clean a tank? Tank off and swill like fury with petrol?
