GS125 Swingarm

Morning!

My Suzuki GS125 just failed its MOT on a corroded swingarm . I've been looking around for a replacement and have found one for the EN125 which has many common parts, just wondered if anyone knew if the swingarm was the same. It looks the same and I know that the GN125 is the same also....

Thanks

Ashley

Re: GS125 Swingarm

any chance of a pic??
corroded swingarm is very,,, well general. would have to be very corroded ie rusted through if you see what i mean, to fail an mot.

i've got corner speed, it's control i struggle with!

Re: GS125 Swingarm

Rusted through is a fair description! I've managed to get it off to have a better look and so I'll take some pictures when I'm cleaned up. My old man is a welder so a repair job might be possible, although I suspect not. Opinions welcome once that the photos are up.

Ash.

Re: GS125 Swingarm

I took the swingarm to my dad for him to have a look at and he welded it there and then, after grunting "I've seen worse". Hence no pics.

Thanks

Ashley

Re: GS125 Swingarm

Just waiting for a sprocket and a new front tyre to arrive and then hopefully I'll get a re-test on Saturday. I'm sick of using the car already!
