Oil Advice & Recommendations Here!

I get asked many questions about oil so I thought a thread here for all oil related questions would be a good idea and build into a FAQ or reference point for others.

So, put your oil questions here but please give the following information if you would like a recommendation:

Make
Model
Year
Engine size/type

Any mods

Type of use (road/track)

Additional info (max oil temps, current oil used)

What do you want a recommendation for? Engine, Gearbox etc?

Are you aware one of your vans (well the tanker which goes to houses, probably heating oil) choked me when i followed you along penzance promanade last year? Lol don't worry about it, but it is worse than some of the old double deckers.

What oil would be best for the following?

Make: Aprilia
Model: Rally
Year: 2002
Engine size/type: 49.26cc
Any mods: Polini Variator, Open air filter, upjet, sports exhaust, 3.5 gram rollers, high compression piston rings.
Type of use (road/track): Road but ragged.
Current oil: Strawberry semi-synthetic

What 2stroke oil and final drive oil would you recommend?

Make: Honda
Model: CG CDI (Import, 4 down manual)
Year: 2000
Engine size/type: 125cc
Any mods: Mukuni GP2 Carb, K&N Air Filter.
Type of use (road/track): Road, not ragged unless overtaking :P
Current oil: Unknown, had the bike about 4-5 weeks. But it is a 4stroke.

What engine oil would you recommend? It is burning too much oil.

size, 750cc

mods, full akaprovic system with tri can, 4 degree ignition advancer, slipper
clutch mod, zx7rr flat side carbs, modded cams with 3 angle valve seats and titanium valves and harder springs, balanced con rods and a balanced crank, nearly forgot carbon race spec air box and KN filter

to be honest i cant remember what oil i put in last time, so what u think

Don't matter, i went to up Redruth with a mate and got the oil i wanted.
