how to....make your own tail tidy

quickie.

get a piece of metal, ally, mild or in my case stainless and carefully work out what size you need remember to include the folded sides/top for mounting and indicators.


then carefully mark out all the holes you are going to need, in my case the outer holes are for indicators, the inner small ones for no. plate, 4 small for mounting to undertray (the central one of those is for the wires) and the two large ones are to make a curved corner when cut.mine were all punched but could have been drilled.


next cut out the shape you need before bending.


then using a vice (but i used a press brake) bend the tabs for indicator mounts and the top mount for undertray.


there you go sorted. bolt to the bike and away you go.
there are many available to buy but they are not difficult to make so have a go.

i've got corner speed, it's control i struggle with!
