| how to....make your own tail tidy quickie. get a piece of metal, ally, mild or in my case stainless and carefully work out what size you need remember to include the folded sides/top for mounting and indicators. ![]() then carefully mark out all the holes you are going to need, in my case the outer holes are for indicators, the inner small ones for no. plate, 4 small for mounting to undertray (the central one of those is for the wires) and the two large ones are to make a curved corner when cut.mine were all punched but could have been drilled. ![]() next cut out the shape you need before bending. ![]() then using a vice (but i used a press brake) bend the tabs for indicator mounts and the top mount for undertray. ![]() there you go sorted. bolt to the bike and away you go. there are many available to buy but they are not difficult to make so have a go. ![]() |
