Re: paddock stands dimensions

front paddock stand, comes in two parts. top & bottom bottom end basically fits into top end.

the dimensions of my stand are as follows

top end (shaped)

13cm long to first bend, then 26cm to second bend, 67cm curved grab handle, then the same on the other side so it matched. add 2 x13 then 2x26 then add 67 gives total length of metal tubing required.

bottom end is 56cm long in total and is 48.5cm wide. from the meeting joint this measures 13 cm, curve then straightens out till hight is 29cm

the rolling wheels are placed at 10cm and the supporting cups are 3cm from the ends of the bars.

didn't know how to upload photo's so got a web address which might help explain the dimensions.
www.powersport.co.uk
its slightly different from mine, but hope it helps.
if you have found my explanation of this difficult to understand,i'm the same with directions.....must be a girl thing

Re: paddock stands

Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a pair of stands Sam?

I bought mine off a spot that has a shop on Ebay, £40 the pair and they fit both my Kawasaki & Triumph, they even fit a mates CBR600 and 'shit-for-brains-down-the-road' (long story), Yamaha Genisis thou.
