Licence plate bulb R6

Hi all I am a new bike owner and my licence plate bulb is out it has had a tail tidy jobby done to it but presume it will still take the same bulb. QUestion is where do I get a replacement from, silly question maybe but I am finding it difficult as there is not even a bulb in there to compare with.

I had a breif look around Halfords but to no avail, was just wondering if there is a place online that may stock them? I have searched but didnt find anything unless I can cram an energy saver household bulb in there.

Cheers for any help.

Re: Licence plate bulb R6

you could try taking the bike to halford and asking one of the staff to take a look at it and then buy a bulb. worth a try?

halfords are generally pretty helpful. they're usually happy to pop out to carpark for a butcher's at yer fitment. I'm assuming the bulb has been removed before you got the bike? and if so, wondering why

Re: Licence plate bulb R6

There was a bulb in there but it was kind of smashed so I have pulled hopefully all of it out but I can't tell, hopefully the seller didnt even realise this but you never know he was a good chap, I will try it at halfords sometime this week as I want to get some bike protectant and some cleaning products.

Thanks anyway peeps just thought there might be somewhere online as its goign to be a fairly uncommon bulb, but maybe it can take a fairly universal fittment.

Cheers.
