| Page rank rising I have just noticed that the sites page rank has increased again - we now have a PR of 3 from google. This puts us right in with other much more established biking forums  and should show higher placings in the search results.I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all members for their contributions and efforts, the site is now taking around 10 new registrations per week and is growing in strength on a daily basis. Obviously we would all like to see this continue, so could I remind you to make sure that the title of any new post needs to be relevant to the content of the post itself. This is what dictates the positioning within search results. For the most part, this is being done but I want to make sure that the membership is fully aware of the issue. Once again well done and thanks to all for your efforts  |

| Re: Page rank rising PR rating? Yer baffling me with all yer techno mumbo jumbo, but it sounds like you've done good! Looks like we're all spreading the word. Seems like all the other sites are a bit too race/speed focused. Everyone here seems a bit more chilled. ( Or maybe we're all just old farts! )   |

| Re: Page rank rising Yep, you hit the nail on the head Carl, the search engines are picking up the site because of the words used in the threads 'title', and peeps are signing up coz they see it's a friendly place to come regardless of their age, ride and riding skills! ermmmm .......... about been called a fart ...  |
