Car/Bike Tax increase?

I see our wonderful government (Robbing Bastards) are introducing more vehicle taxation classes next April, which will apparently double the cost of road tax on cars older than 6 years old.
Does anyone know if bike road tax is affected??????

Tony

Re: Car/Bike Tax increase?

well to all you so n so's that voted this shower in, and more specifically, those smug b'stards that are gloating about smokers being banned from pubs n clubs - FECKIN SERVES YA RIGHT
entirely predictably, falling (legit) sales of cigs n alcohol means less revenue, so they shift the emphasis elsewhere to make up the shortfall - and when all the ex smokers start living long enough to draw a pension its you lot that'll have to feckin pay it

Whaaaaaaaaa??? Can't blame ciggie sales. Sales aren't down, it's pub takings that are down, which the gov don't care about 'cos it doesn't lose 'em much. As a non-smoker, it's great that I can go for a game of snooker and not have to put up with a cloud of smoke hovering over the table. Besides, the gov is making billions and billions on petrol taxation, so the rest is just a drop in the ocean.

hah there's one smug tw*t smoked out where's me landing net?

so no one's given up, cut down or turned to the black market then? do you know how much tax we pay on a pack of cigs? I worked out a couple of years ago that I was paying just under 70 quid a week, so if I give up you lot'll have to make up the shortfall. and if a million like me give up, that'll be 70 million quid a week you smug tw*ts will have to *cough up. and when we all live an extra 10 years that'll be another 520 weeks @ 100million quid a week in pension handouts.
if enough peeps gave up driving tomorrow, this shower would just start taxing something else (hopefully snooker sessions cos they like green taxes) - they're even suggesting a 21st century equivalent of the window tax ffs!

if you voted friggin Labour you forfeited any right to whinge about taxes
