beach today

Having a rare day off combining with reasonable weather we decided to pop to the beach for the day and catch some sun with the added benefit of giving the bike a run out.
We have a favourite beach tother side of Brid and got there about 11ish and settled down for the day.
Deano advised I take of my shades but it was almost sunny so of course I knew better and left them on. Sun was a bit hazy but it was warm and we had a nice laze.
Getting home at teatime I took off my lid to be greeted by hoots of laughter from his nibs,
although it was hazy I am red all over apart from where my shades were! I now go by the name of Chi Chi, to add insult to injury the rest of me is very red and sore and shiny now I've moisturised
I feel the need for a large drink!

A small price to pay for a luuurvley day at the beach. Anyway, Chi Chi's a good name .
