Honda Fes 125.

Hi.

Im saving up for a new bike. I want something big, practical and automatic.

I was thinking of getting the Fes because it is big, practical and it is an automatic. I have searched on the internet for reviews, and only 1 has been negative with the big end going, but you would know if the big end would go because it would make a rattle noise (so i have been told).

Would you say that the Honda Fes Pantheon would be a suitable bike for me? I need something large, practical and reasonably fun. Oh, and it must be economical, the main reason why i am sticking to an automatic is because i hate gears, and the main reason why i like the fes is that some people say that they get 95+mpg.

I want to sortof save the environment a bit, and save my wallet from donating money in the form of taxes to the government at the petrol pump.

Re: Honda Fes 125.

Here are my main requirements.

1. Must be automatic
2. Reliability is important
3. Economy has to be about 80mpg+
4. Must be under 250cc at the moment
5. Top speed at least 55mph.
6. Must not be an import because of insurance problems (ive claimed once).

Purchase cost is not an issue as i can save up.

Re: Honda Fes 125.

I just hate gears. Ive tryed gears on a bike several times and i can't get used to them, i find it kinda hard.

There are 3 different hondas in the range and Fes is the highest 1 up.

Re: Honda Fes 125.

the fes looks good and being a honda it should be very reliable ,have you considered some extra training to get you used to a geared bike?
