| Re: need advice Just to back-up Sham's last reply, my mate was stopped for speeding on his bike and was told he would have his licence revoked, for both his car and bike! My mate questionned this and it turned out the coppers wasn't so sure. He had to radio through to ""them"" and find out, they had to check as well to it took a while at the side of the road. Turned out that the he didn't get either revoked in the end because he did his car test before the rules came in. P.S. Regarding your bike licence, they can give you an IN10 (no insurance - up to 6 points) plus driving without a licence (3 or 6 points) once you've passed your test (I used to work in insurance). You shouldn't have stopped mate. Sorry dude. |

| Re: need advice thanks for all replies to this post... have now got citation and will find out the damamge on 12th august.. can only hope for some leniency. they have charged me with driving not in accordance of license and although not charged me with no insurance it is mentioned in report that they checked with insurance company and confirmed that i would not have been insured to drive under the terms of my license.. can i ask what you think the consequence will be? i.e. loss of license?? will they take into account no previous convictions? i need license for job? to collect my child? etc.. i know no1 knows but.... |
