Look in here to get an idea of bike prices, find one you like, get the reg number then look in here Bike insurance cheapest I found second post down and get a quote for the bike you picked. Too much then do it again with another bike until you find one you can afford to buy and afford to insure. | |

| Re: I'm so confused, please help! Thanks guys, it was actually how old the bike was (I was looking at 7 year old bikes!) but looking at 1990 - 1995 bikes, 600cc I'm now getting quotes for about £450 (TP F&T) which is great!! I'm goign to do it, book my theory for next week and book a DAS for mid-July, then get a bike! Only problem is I think I've managed to sell my car, so that's a month with no transport except public, oh dear!!! Again, thank you ALL for your help and advice :-) I'm now looking at a 1995 Honda CBR600F for £1295, I reckon I can get it for £1200! There's no point buying it until I pass my test I guess, as I can't ride it, even with L plates, right?? :-( THanks again! |

| Re: I'm so confused, please help! well done brads ![]() no you can't ride it til you've passed, but buy it anyway as long as you can resist temptation! I hate buses, had to go all the way to leicester on one a couple of years ago to collect a car, cos mrs deano wouldn't gimme a lift 1st time I'd been on a bus since schooldays - was 7 hours without a smoke ![]() |
