Hopefully New Biker Soon

Hello All

Got my cbt and das coming up soon, I have left it a bit late, 44 years young.

When I pass, think positive, do you think the new HONDA CB1000R would be to much, as a first bike, as I really like the look of the bike. Cant wait to see it in the flesh.

Sorry for the short post but the MOTOGP is on, then off to work

Cheers

Paul

Re: Hopefully New Biker Soon

hello paul, welcome to the forum.. a cb1000 is a big bike to start with, but if thats what you want, then go for it,just be very careful with the right hand.. you could change your mind about what size of bike you want after you have done the das on a 500cc plus machine and get a feel of what its like. anyway good luck with the cbt and das and don't worry about being 44,thats quite young for here

hi paul looks like were in the same boat , me 45 years young though.CBT and DASlast week in July.I dont have any experience of biking so the instructer will have a blank canvas to work with!.Have been reading up , and asking advice on various bikes(would welcome opinions) but think i have settled on cbr600f as it seems so versatile.

1000cc may be a bit of a handful for a 1st bike.

Morning All, thanks for the replies.

I think you may be right, best to get the DAS done first on the 500cc and see how they feel, handle. The bike looks nice thou. Do you think they will bring out a 600 version? Now that would be nice.

Just throwing ideas around at the moment, once passed test I can really start to have look around

Spree, if your reading this your missing World Superbikes
