| New Driver Points Question Your driving licence is automatically revoked if you build up six or more penalty points within two years of passing your first driving test. This includes any penalty points you had before passing the test, which are still valid. You’ll have to reapply for your driving licence as a learner driver and resit your driving test. I am having a headache with this one, I have 3 points (only ones in 16 years of driving on the road in a car), when I pass my practical on a bike does the above count for me?, or does this not affect me? |

| Re: New Driver Points Question the six point thing is only valid on a "new" licenses, as you have had your license a while the bike part only counts as an additional category, therefore the 6 point thing doesnt apply. .......................Sam |
