| Theory Test Certificate Why do you need this the day of the practical. Even tho you cant book a practical online until you have the theory. I tried booking the practical the day I got the theory but it wasnt on the system. I tried the next day and got it booked no need for a certificate to book it. So the system knows you have it. Why then the need for the certificate on test day? |

| Re: Theory Test Certificate Back in the day when you just had to do part 1 and part 2, before CBT, I'd left it almost the maximum time of a year before I booked my part 2 test. I couldn't find my part 1 certificate anywhere and was gutted. My mam never liked the idea of me riding a bike but she saved my bacon on the very day of the test by 'finding' it in one of the cupboards. ![]() Balmy days - an MZ ES125, Kawa KH125 and a Honda CG 125 that I passed my test on. Then straight up to a proper bike, a red Superdream 250. Don't know you're born, you youngsters! ![]() |

Theory test lasts for 2 years from the time you take it. Not that I needed it I wanted to book the practical on the day I got it. Anyway I found the certificate. I put it with my paper part of the licence in my sunvisor of the van. A great idea if I wasnt so forgetfull. When I remembered I needed the paper part I went to get it out the van and there was the certificate. All ready now roll on test day. | |
