| North Via South Wales I have just spoken to a riding school in North Wales who could possibly offer me a test date within the next 2 weeks. Thing is, the guy I spoke to said I would have to have a few hours out riding with them because the test is so different in North Wales to South Wales...........he told me that they don't use their mirrors but are expected to do over the shoulder observations. I said I did both but he went on to say that there were lots of other things done differently and that there was 70% more chance of passing in South than North. Any advice anyone? Anyone else know of any differences in tests? I thought whole of UK would operate on same principles? cheers Sandra D |

| Re: North Via South Wales I did my test in North Wales, albeit a few years ago... I remember making sure that the action of checking the mirrors was to be very deliberate, so the examiner can see your looking, but apart from that it ain't ringing any bells for me... where in "gog" you looking to do your test? |

(as well as pretty much any other "undesirable" element of society)Sorry I don't really know anyone who has done their test in Rhyl, or any of the bike schools over that way. | |

| Re: North Via South Wales at my lessons today the guy said to make sure i get at least one hour up with the instructors in kendal to make sure they are looking for the same things as in bradford, does sound ridiculous when its supposed to be a set national standard but for the sake of £25 ill give it a go! |
