DAS course on 13th October Hi guys and gals, been a few weeks since ive been on here but ive finally bitten the bullet and booked my DAS course. I passed my CBT in June and bought myself a brand new YZF r125, lovely bike and really enjoyed riding it but i just wanted something extra, ive always loved bikes and the dreaded "L" plate wasnt doing me any favours, i had been a car driver for 10 years and when i got on my bike i started to realise the amount of nuggets you get on the roads but still....it hasnt put me off and although ive resigned myself to losing a bit of money in selling my bike (any offers by the way???? ), im ecstatic that they have delayed the new test until march 09 and its given me the oppertunity to go and get it done. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks ill be coming on here and saying "test passed".Been reading through the bike test stories and brushing up on my skills as and when i can on my bike but roll on October a 125 just wont do! I should have done DAS in the first place, but then again on the brighter side at least i learnt how to ride a bike proficiently before taking on the test!

Re: DAS course on 13th October Nothing at all! And although ive only had my bike since june ive clocked up over 1300 miles in just shy of 8 weeks, even went down the A49 on sunday to get the Mrs some icecream from a lovely little place, got it back home still frosty and frozen, and kept her sweet about the whole DAS course thing because she isnt exactly thrilled about it (she wanted to go on Holiday, i had other plans) an easy woman to please! ![]()

Re: DAS course on 13th October Ta Muchly grotbag, i put the work in though so wasn't suprised that i passed (not to blow my own trumpet like) but i did do a fair bit of revision, even though id been driving for 10 years there are some obscure questions! But step 2 complete, roll on step 3 and hopefully a pass!
