I imagine it's a similar formula to the rain-x, but you paid significantly less for yours! If I apologise for the 'bu66er' comment can you 'borrow' me a bottle too?

I would have thought that rain would have a hard time staying on a canopy at 300 mph.? Now dead birds, that would a different kettle of fish. :-)

Birds? Fish? I'm confused now, and a kettle would certainly make a mess of a canopy at 300mph. I think I need to lie down

Gloves like these should be pretty good for wiping your visor.

Re: Stupid question-clearing rain off visors- what do you use?

would be surprised at how bad the rain affects the canopy to hear some of the complaints you get if its been a bit damp up there and believe it or not birds have a very hard time sticking to the canopy..they tend to destroy it and anything else they come into contact with! remember some years ago going to valley to recover a hawk that misplaced a bird through the side of the metal fuselage at a quite oblique angle and bashed the engine to pieces! How the guy got it on the ground ill never know.

FOGCITY PROSHIELD SMOKE VISOR INSERT on eBay, also Visors, Helmets, Goggles Visors, Motorcycle Clothing Helmets, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 27-Oct-08 09:38:14 GMT)

Mine was helmet specific, but I dare say this one would fit. Check with the seller or Fog city website first if unsure.
you can also get self tinting tinting ones, like reactolite sunglasses. These are called Hyper-optik. I'll probably be getting one of these soon for when the sun is low.

Found this one too...

There's a few customer reviews on there.
