Well done Jenni, no minors, that's great!

Did you find it easy then? How were the nerves?

Are you getting another bike now or keeping the one you've got for a bit?

Nerves beforehand were all over the place - went through the show me/tell me's with my instructor and forgot which side of the bike my brake was on... Once I was actually on the bike and we got going it was okay, though

And I'm going to stick with my little SR for the minute purely from a funds perspective - planning to upgrade as soon as I can afford to, though.

Re: DAS test this morning...

congratulations on passing.

not wanting to spoil the moment, but remember if this is your 1st driving licence you can't get any more than 6 points for the first 2 years (you lose your licence, start again)

always keep your helmet fastened even when pushing your bike because you get 3 points on your licence and a £60 fine.

again congratulations and well done

Thank you

I've had a car licence for about six years now, so I think that I'm at the regular points limit? Probably. I've never had any, anyhow.

And, god, I always have my helmet fastened - the thought of what could happen if I came off without it on, or on properly, is genuinely terrifying, considering that I hit the ground with a helmet on from only going about 20mph and I still blacked out and wound up concussed. The points/fines thing is a bit of a side note, for me...

Always good to keep such things in mind though, so thank you
