Got my CBT today... elated!

Wow, what a difference a few days makes.... my experience with the CBT today was completely different to the first time I tried to do it!

The school I went to today (Valley) took a completely different approach to the other school I went to. The safety talk was much longer, when we were in the yard the instructors actually got on the bikes and showed us what they expected us to do instead of just telling us... there was a marked difference in approach and attitude between the two schools I used.

I would have posted earlier but I got home and promptly fell asleep! I think the early mornings don't agree with me heheh

Anyway, I'm going to sort myself out with a bike and some gear in the next few weeks hopefully and then I'll be looking for some people to ride out with on a Sunday :-)

As I said in another post, congrats mate

Give us a shout or PM any time you want to ride out and if Im not working (and I work wierd shifts so am about quite a bit ) / doing something else I, always up for it.

Don't be one of those who come on here, talk the talk saying how they really want to go on ride outs, have bikes, etc then when local rideout's are posted, the silence is deafening

I definitely want to get out there and ride it, it's not worth the time and effort otherwise! I'm not available Saturdays though, I'm a divorced dad....

Congratulations Dan.

When you said you were going to a school mentioned in your previous thread - I did wonder if it was VBS - I was so nervous for you (you know when you recommend something and somebody else reckons it's a pile of poo?) I was hoping you'd find them as good as I did and I'm so chuffed for you!!

Get saving for those lessons - it doesn't matter whether you do them on a 125 or a 500 and when I get my bike next year I'll definitely be up for the ride-outs.
