I did it!! I DIT IT!!!!
On Saturday, I finally got round to doing my pre-CBT and took to motorcycling like a duck to water!

OK, it will take me a while to get used to the clutch being in the same place as a brake on a 'normal' bike, and hill starts are a giggle, but...


YAY!!!!!!!


Here's me with a very fetching 'lid' on my bonce and a big cheesy grin!!







I'll have to wait until the Spring before I can do my CBT because a. the Tax Bill is coming up and b. I can't tolerate cold due to a circulatory disorder, but I'm soooooooooooooooooo looking forward to doing the CBT and getting out there on two wheels!!!

The grin is gonna be stuck on my face for WEEKS!!!




I just WISH I could do the CBT earlier, but there's no point if I can't feel m'fingers in cold weather!! I'd fail before I even start coz I'd not be able to feel the indicator switch...



So I'm afraid I'm gonna be a 'fair weather rider' unless there''s a way of wrapping me up in an electric blanket while out on a bike... (Actually, that's a cue for a question: I have to wear heated pilot's gloves even when driving a car in winter. These draw power from the 12v ciggie lighter - are there such things on bikes?)
