Re: Hourly Lessons

im in sunny scotland but its been a few years since i took my 2hourly lessons, but i remember being given the choice of what way i wanted to approach the test, there were plenty other people also taking the 2hourly lessons route, if i remember correctly i had 8 X2 hourly sessions before my test, but i had my own bike so put in a lot of practice on my own

Re: Hourly Lessons

I think the best way to find an answer to that is to phone 3 or 4 training schools / instructors in your local area and make a general enquiry about hourly / 2 hourly lessons and how many hours on average it take to be test ready.

Just as a yard arm ..........The average DAS is 3 day's at 6 hours a day = 18 hours

Some time's my mind doesn't only wander, it leaves completely ...........

Re: Hourly Lessons

Hiya Clarkee, the school I used in Hampshire is £25.00 per hour, but I had 3 days training before my test, at £115 per day owch

I was depressed last night so I called Lifeline. Got through to a call center in Pakistan.
I told them I was suicidal, and they got all excited and asked: 'Can you drive a truck?'

Re: Hourly Lessons

I'd like to take this route myself, but it does seems rather expensive.

£345 is not bad at all if they could guarantee that they would get me to a standard that I'd pass. I'd pay that much.

Re: Hourly Lessons

I did 2-hourly lessons. They were £60 if you were on a 125 or £70 if you were on a 500 bike. I did about 10 x 2-hourly lessons and a couple of U-turn schools in-between - if it hadn't taken me so long to master the U-turns I would have probably had about 6 or 7 lessons and then put in for my test!
