| Had the cbt monday. Have to go back, but loved it! Got on pretty well, instructor seemed impressed. Good enough to keep the scolding at a minimum but bad enough to keep em on their toes. Sadly the girl on a 50cc I did the cbt with wasn't quite as full on beginners luck. She took too long to get the hang of some parts so she didn't come out on the road with us. Sadly it was too late by this point for me to have the full two hours, so have to go back for the last hour. Bit annoyed, but ah well we can't all get things first go. Ace time though, even on a small engine like a 125 was great. Had to do the road part in the rain which was a bit intimidating, but loved every second. Reckon i'll get a 125 to get some practice on til I take the test sometime next month, don't think i can stay away for a few weeks ![]() Btw, sorry grots. Got a Fzr waiting for restriction, decided to go for the better deal rather than the dragstar. I was converted by the light side ![]() Last edited by Penguin-TPP : 10-22-2008 at 01:09 PM. |

| Serenity I was depressed last night so I called Lifeline. Got through to a call center in Pakistan. I told them I was suicidal, and they got all excited and asked: 'Can you drive a truck?' | |

| Re: Had the cbt monday. Have to go back, but loved it! Well done Penguin! Sounds like you're a natural mate.I remember when I did mine. I thought I was useless when I first got on a geared bike (had had a scooter only). But on the rideout it all seemed to click and it was brilliant! When you think about people who aren't good enough to get the CBT in a day, you realise you're not so useless after all. |

| Re: Had the cbt monday. Have to go back, but loved it! Old cg is better than new CG in my opinion. Old cg is kick start only but that means less to go wrong, and the old cg is stronger than the new one, the seat is more comfortable on the old one, my old one revs harder and faster than the new one and is faster than the new one. I high sided my cg (dry mud on road), only needs exhaust and brake lever to fix. Most bikes that high side come off worse than that. Rob |
