Re: Bike Tests in Very Cold Weather

Great! I'll get one of those too.

I'll have jet fighters locking onto me due to my heat signature

Re: Bike Tests in Very Cold Weather

I did my test this week in the North East and, even though it was a sunny day, it was only about 1-2 deg. I had about a 30 minute ride to the test centre and by the time I got there my hands (particularly the right) were almost completely numb.

Top Tip: when you get there put your gloves on the crankcase of the bike. By the time you've finished messing about with the paperwork and come out to start the test they will be pleasantly warm and that should be enough to stave off frostbite for the 35 minutes of the test.

Re: Bike Tests in Very Cold Weather

If you want to ride a bike in the freeze, (like I do) and you don't want to get your hands cold, you need staff like this. www.klansrl.com That's what I use. I suggest the gloves and the socks, both thermo heated.

Check this site www.klansrl.com and you won't be freezing anymore. I use the gloves and the socks. Remember, keep your hands and feet heated and you'll be all-right. Clothing is very important if you ride all year around.
